Hello Sweet Friends,

I am so grateful to be writing this to you today; the mornings are cooler, the air is getting crisp, and the sun is setting a little bit earlier...I think I may be the only person in the valley who gets excited about that! Another wonderful bit about this season? Big changes are coming! As of this writing, Willow Chi is now Muse: Inspired (bodywork, bodycare, bodytemple). Why the name change? Willow Chi has been the name of my business since 2015~ but the language no longer feels like mine. I feel more inspired by bodywork and that life is serendipitous in its flow so...Muse: Inspired speaks more to who I am and what I am doing in my practice.

How was your summer? I spent mine obtaining a new certification ~ Grief Counseling (In the B.E.R.F. method)...how will I be using this? Within the context of massage therapy, I will be using this deeper understanding of grief to help move it somatically through the body. If you have already received grief counseling and feel like you have moved on emotionally, but feel in your body the memory--let's work together to move that energy out! Somatic movement has been helpful for thousands of people in shifting them out of deep grief or more truly, to know that the darkness is there but that it doesn't have to be hopeless.
